Individual Therapy
Compassionate individual therapy designed to help your mind and body heal from the inside out.
I became a therapist because I've always been drawn to understanding people deeply and helping others feel less alone in what they're carrying. I believe healing starts with feeling safe enough to show up honestly, without fear of judgment.
While I'm able to support a variety of mental health concerns, I'm especially familiar with working with children and adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm. I understand how exhausting it can feel to constantly juggle expectations, emotions, and the pressure to keep everything together.
My approach is creative, curious, honest, and collaborative. My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood without feeling analyzed. I want to create a safe place to talk, be yourself, or even figure out who you are if you haven't fully yet.
My modalities include:
Our sessions may include creative approaches, CBT techniques, open conversation, or whatever best fits your individual needs and goals. I believe therapy shouldn't feel one-size-fits-all. What matters most to me is creating a space that feels supportive, authentic, and provides a real space to slow down, make sense of things, and feel a little less alone while doing it.
When I'm not in session, I'm usually out being a bit of a busy body trying new foods, exploring new places, and finding new experiences around Houston. Lately, some of my favorite places to explore are the many parks around the city with my kids.
I also love slower days filled with creativity and rest — whether that's making art, listening to records, or spending time doing the little recreational activities that help fill my cup.

Art therapy uses the creative process and artwork to help people express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. In a session, this might include mindful art-making activities that help a person stay present in the moment, or structured prompts from a therapist that explore a client's emotions, experiences, or goals. The focus is not on making good art — instead, it is about the process of creating and what it reveals. The artwork becomes a tool for communication, reflection, and insight. This can make therapy feel less intimidating for some people, especially when verbal expression is difficult.
Yes! I was an elementary school teacher for six years at a low-income school, where I worked closely with children and parents on both behavioral and emotional needs. I'm very familiar with supporting kids through a range of challenges and meeting them where they are.
Not at all. Art therapy isn't about making good art — it's about the process of creating and what it reveals. You don't need any experience, training, or artistic skill. The artwork simply becomes a tool for communication, reflection, and insight, and many people find it easier than putting feelings into words.
